Lake Metigoshe State Park, situated in the Turtle Mountains, boasts small lakes, rolling hills and aspen forests that attract many outdoor recreation enthusiasts. Bordering Canada, the park is 14 miles northeast of Bottineau and 10 miles due west of the International Peace Garden. Activities at the park include camping, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and fishing for northern pike, perch and walleye in the summer and cross-country skiing, sledding and snowmobiling in the winter.
Open year round.
